USING REALLY RAW HONEY

BANANA STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE

  • 1-2 bananas

  • 3/4 C almond, soy, or milk of choice

  • 1 C frozen strawberries

  • 2 tsp Really Raw Honey

  • 1 tsp vanilla

Combine all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth.

LEMON/ LIME/ ORANGE/ GRAPEFRUIT AID

  • 1/2 C Fruit juice

  • 8 C Filtered water

  • Really Raw Honey to taste

‚ÄčWhisk all ingredients and serve over ice.

FERMENTED BERRY DRINK

  • 2 C Blackberries, raspberries, or boysenberries, fresh or frozen

  • 1/4 to 1/2 C Really Raw Fermented honey

  • 1/2 tsp Sea salt

  • Filtered Water

Place berries in a food processor and process with a little water until smooth. Pass through a strainer to remove the seeds. Blend with honey and salt and place in a 2-quart glass container. Add enough water to fill the container. Cover and leave at room temperature for 2-3 days. Carefully remove any foam that rises to the top. Cover tightly and store in the refrigerator for several weeks. The sediment will fall to the bottom. To serve, pour out slowly so as not to disturb the sediment.

FRENCH DRESSING

  • 2/3 c olive oil

  • 2 Tbsp Vinegar

  • 1 garlic glove smashed

  • 1 Tbsp Really Raw Honey

  • 1/8 tsp dry mustard

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Blend all ingredients well. Serve on salad.

APPLE HONEY CHUTNEY

  • 5 Medium apples, peeled, cored, and coarsely chopped

  • 2/3 C Really Raw Honey

  • 2/3 C Apple cider vinegar

  • 1 Large clove garlic, chopped

  • 1/3 C orange juice

  • 1/2 Tbsp fresh ginger, chopped

  • 1 Tsp cinnamon

Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Immediately turn down heat and let simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally for about 45 minutes until apples are soft and most of the liquid is dissolved.

Cool before storing.

SPICED HONEY BUTTER

  • 1/4 cup Really Raw Honey

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened to room temperature

  • 1 teaspoon grated orange peel

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Serve with biscuits, bread, or toast. Makes about 3/4 cup.

REALLY RAW HONEY BALLS

  • 4 cups ground nuts, seeds or nut butter

  • 1 cup dried unsweetened coconut

  • 2/3 cup unsweetened carob powder

  • 1 & 1/2 cups Really Raw Honey

Mix all ingredients together by hand or in a food processor. Roll into balls. For variety roll in groundnuts, sesame seeds, or coconut for extra elegance. For a crunchy feel, add 1 / 4 cup of nut pieces at end. Refrigerate or freeze for extended life.

3 BEAN SALAD

  • 15 oz can kidney beans, drained and rinsed

  • 15 oz can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed

  • 1 C green beans, steamed and cut into bite size pieces

  • 1/3 C red onion, chopped

  • 2 stalks celery, chopped

  • 1/4 C fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 Tsp fresh rosemary, chopped

  • 2 Tbsp Really Raw Honey

  • 3 Tbsp Olive Oil

  • 1/3 C apple cider vinegar

  • 1 Tsp salt

  • 1/4 Tsp black pepper

In a large bowl, mix 3 types of beans, onion, celery, parsley and rosemary. In a separate bowl, whisk together honey, olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. Add the dressing to the beans and toss to coat. Chill until serving.
